King Cashalot Rules Over New Games

September 2, 2004 – Isle of Man - Online casino players are in for a diversity of treats in the August new games releases from top turnkey provider Microgaming.

Pick of the bunch is King Cashalot, a 5 reel, 9 line, multiple coin, progressive video slot game with a wild multiplier and scatter symbol and a fun, three chance, player choice bonus feature. The theme is, as the name suggests Medieval and the brightly coloured artwork abounds with golden dragons and beautiful damsels, sumptuous feasts and a host of colorful characters, all backed with stunning sound effects.

Players can bet up to 5 coins on each of the 9 paylines, taking the maximum wager per spin to 45 coins, and as usual only max bets qualify for the serious Jackpot Madness network progressive jackpot which happens when 5 King Cashalots line up on the 9th payline.

Adding to the excitement are Wild Multiplier and Scatter symbols coupled with a humorous theme that ensures players will be thoroughly entertained. The Jester is the Scatter symbol, through which wins calculated on the total number of credits staked are added to payline wins. King Cashalot is the symbol to watch for however, because being a Wild Multiplier he will double a win, when completing a valid winning combination. He substitutes for all symbols except for Scatters and the Treasure Bonus symbol.

The monarch also grants extra treasure in the Bonus feature, triggered by his pet Golden Dragon. Scattered on reels 2, 3 and 4, when hit these mythical creatures open a vault where generous King Cashalot himself offers the player three chances to keep or pick again from eight bulging Treasure Chests.

Also joining the Jackpot Madness network is Tunzamunni, an important addition to the Microgaming progressive range because it is the groups first nickel progressive reel slot. Presented with the popular tribal treasure theme, this game will appeal to the many players who prefer the straightforward 3 reel, 1 payline format.

Hidden deep in the jungle lies a forgotten treasure waiting for a lucky adventurer to stumble across its golden threshold. Tunzamunni's bold graphics and crystal clear digital sound will carry the theme and are sure to attract tons of action.

For players in the mood for some European lifestyle gambling sharpened by the edginess of the hugely popular Thunderstruck style slot action, Tally Ho is the best bet.

Modeled on the feature-rich Thunderstruck, Tally Ho is as exciting...and maybe even more rewarding. Based on a 5 Reel, 9 Line, 10 Coin game, with a Wild Multiplier, a Scatter symbol and a Free Spin Bonus feature, Tally Ho is an adrenalin pump, and has 10 Free Spins with a 4x Multiplier for every win during the feature.

The Gamble feature allows players to gamble 2x or 4x the win and the presentation is characterized by advanced game features, digital sound and dynamic graphics and animations. Up to 90 coins in various denominations can be wagered at a time on the maximum bet

In keeping with the ancient 'Tally Ho' hunting cry, the best rewards come from Lord and Lady Fox, although through the multiplier and significant free spin advantages the bold gambler can get through the Wild Stallion and Scatter hunting horns, winnings as high as 120 000 Credits are possible.

The theme is more British than European, and humourously depicts some classic icons. The wild multiplier symbol is a powerful stallion, and gleaming hunting horns identify the scatters that activate 10 free spins (and more free spins can be achieved within the feature). Add vintage sports cars, strawberries and cream, Georgian mansions with noble crests and cucumber sandwiches and there's a definite genteel feel despite the hectic action.

Answering European market demand, French Roulette has been developed, giving a cutting edge update to a classic traditional casino game still immensely popular in Europe.

Everyone from novice player to sophisticated spy will enjoy the glamour and excitement of Microgaming's latest table game. Using the revolutionary and multi-featured Viper software as a platform, Microgaming designers have captured the look and sounds of the game, which was first introduced in the late eighteenth century, taking Europe by storm. This stylish game remains very popular to this day and can be found in most of the classic European casinos from Monte Carlo to the gaming houses of London.

This is French roulette as it is played throughout Europe. French roulette wheels have 36 numbers and a single zero, and the Gallic feel is immediately apparent from the crisp, clear and colourful graphics with titles like Manque (1 to 18) Impair (Odds) Passe (19 to 36) and Pair (even) in addition to a range of special wagers known as call bets.

To create the right ambience Microgaming has added high quality sound effects that capture the murmur of the crowd, the whir of the wheel and that distinctive metallic tinkle as the ball finds a hopefully lucky slot.

Final game in the August game release is the latest version of Microgaming's red hot Joker Poker - 10 Play Power Poker. This video poker genre has six game styles for gamblers and this is one of them.

Winnings of up to 100 000 credits are possible for video poker players using this gambling suite that enables VP fans to play ten hands at once, with a different 52 card pack for each hand.

There's plenty of flexibility with this game and players can wager between 1 to 5 coins per hand, or up to fifty coins at a time in denominations ranging from as little as a 0.01 Credit to 2.00 Credits. Even the second highest payout is 60 000 credits.

Behind the razor sharp, high quality graphics and fast gameplay is Viper, Microgaming's state-of-art gambling software that empowers the player with a host of optional assists, features and analytical information to enhance the gambling experience. No other software on the market offers as wide a range of facilities as this.

The latest releases are part of an ongoing Microgaming strategy to constantly add to and update a dynamic collection of games that appeal to every sector of the online gambling market. New games are regularly introduced on a quarterly basis.
