Live Sky Sports Broadcast for Irish Poker Open

350 of the world�s finest poker players will arrive in Dublin this Easter weekend with the paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open on their minds. The �3,000 entry Irish Open is the longest established poker tournament in Europe. The main event starts on 4pm on Saturday April 15 and will play down to a final table of six players on Monday April 17 for a share in the �1 million guaranteed prize pool.

The event is being broadcast live all across Europe on Sky Sports 2 at 9.30pm on Monday 17 April. The transmission is the first of its kind from Ireland and will be filmed before a select VIP audience at a top secret location in Dublin.

Poker has now become the third most watched cable TV sport in the US and has proved a hit with mainstream audiences all over Europe.
