Search For World�s Best Amateur Begins

Launching a comprehensive search for the world�s best amateur poker player is no mean feat. What with every man and his dog trying to go pro these days, it�s hard to find someone who plays in their spare time and is truly awesome. The Small Town Poker Tour is trying to do just that though, starting this coming weekend at the Noble Poker site. The aim is to get those who can�t attend the Small Town Poker Tour�s live events involved in proceedings. It will act as the first leg of a series of games leading up to their annual World Amateur Finals in Las Vegas later this year. It�s almost certain that whoever takes the final crown will cash in their chips and go pro at the fastest opportunity. The event is due to take place on Saturday 27 May and will be followed by a series of tournaments across the globe, from Estonia to Native American reservations.
