Growth in Online Casinos Lifts Poker Room

Having only started business in January 2006, PokerLoco�s continued growth looks all the more impressive, having already generated more than 20,000 registered players from all over the world.

Sweden has quickly become its largest market with the Norwegian market also experiencing an increase to become PokerLoco�s fourth largest market after the USA and Spain.

Stefan Mahlstein, chairman of Homerun Gaming Ventures Ltd commented: �Revenues increased by 184% in May. The Swedish market is the largest with 51% of the active players and more than 40% of the revenues, followed by the US market with 14,5% of the active players and 23% of the revenues,� he said.

�It is very encouraging to see figures like this, in spite of the fact that our marketing activities for PokerLoco have been rather limited. Even though it is an increase from low levels, the future looks promising. The market is far from saturated.�
