High Definition Poker on the Way

If you’ve just spent your last of this month’s pay check on a High Definition TV, making that trip to Vegas a nigh on impossibility, fear not. You can still take in the new poker room at Caesars Palace in all its glory, without having to leave your den. The inaugural National Poker League kicks off at the revamped venue on June 2, with INHD network due to air proceedings. This means you can get a good feel for the venue without having to lay down vast sums of cash in games that you’re unlikely to win. The NPL event will consist of 10 small buy-in events, leading to semi finals and a final table where the last man standing will take home $100,000. It is hoped that it will attract a younger poker audience (that is those who can’t fund a trip to the WSOP) and bring some new talent to the attention of America’s poker loving public.
