Huge Revenue Increase Announced by Online Casino Group



PartyGaming has announced that revenues are up by 54%, as record numbers of players gambled at their websites.Revenues for the first three months of 2006 are reported to be at almost £200m.

Interestingly, 39% of new players for the year so far are from outside of the US and the record setting poker revenue has contributed massively to the overall impressive outlook.

PartyGaming Finance Director, Martin Weigold, said, 'The first quarter has seen continued strong growth in poker on the back of record numbers of poker sign-ups.'

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein analyst, Andrew Lee, said that PartyGaming's 'impressive' first quarter revenues were ahead of City expectations and revised his full-year earnings forecast up from £403.4m to £427.6m.
