Lara Croft Plays Poker? You'd Better Believe It...

You may have thought that mobile poker games really couldn�t go any further than selling millions of copies and keeping people away from socialising when not playing the real thing. But alas it seems that there is yet more to come in this expanding sector of the poker market.

The good people at Morpheme and Eidos Interactive have teamed up to target those with overactive imaginations to bring out Lara Croft�s Party Poker. Not content with producing a game whose major cultural contribution has been women with massive breasts running around with guns in games or on the big screen, the developers wanted to produce something a little different.

The aim is pretty simple. The game resides on your mobile phone and accommodates only one player who can take on Lara and friends for some casual Texas Hold�em. Whether she has a bit of banter remains to be seen. But you can be certain that this game will be incorporated in some form in the next product placement heavy Lara Croft movie.
