The One Million Dollar sportsbook.com Super Bowl Challenge

February 3, 2005 (London, UK) - sportsbook.com is celebrating the world’s most spectacular sporting event with a Million-dollar giveaway. By the time the Eagles and the Patriots are done battling for football’s most prestigious crown this Sunday, one shrewd sports fan will be one million dollars richer!

The contest is open to everyone who visits www.sportsbook.com/contest/million.php

Simply answer 20 questions on different aspects of the game, from the outcome of coin toss to the total rushing yards by the Patriots. Should you answer all 20 questions correctly, there is a million dollars waiting for you.

Should no one answer all 20 correctly, then the closest contestants will share a prize pool of $6,000. $2,000 will go to the winner, with $1,500 for second place, $1,000 for third place, and $500 and $250 for fourth and fifth respectively. Sixth through tenth will receive a free $50 free wager and a Namco video game. All customers enter a prize draw to win one of 50 Rolling Stones Forty Licks CDs.

“We wanted to make Super Bowl Sunday more exciting for the players at sportsbook.com than anywhere else,” explains Alex Czajkowski, Marketing Director for Sportingbet PLC, Americas Region. “After all the props and exotic betting options we have for the game, we decided we should give players the chance at a big jackpot win as well. This contest will have fans on the edge of their seats right through the end of the game.”
