Paddy Power Betting on World Series of Poker Final Table

This Thursday 10 August will see the final game of the largest and most bountiful poker games to date, when nine players from a pool of over 8,000, will battle it out at the felt for a grand prize of $12 million, at the World Series of Poker main event.

This year�s event has also been an historic one for Irish bookmakers Paddy Power, receiving unprecedented interest in its 21 markets, so much so, that it plans at least three betting in running markets on the final table, incorporating �outright winner�, �next player gone� and �winning hand� markets.

A Spokesman for Paddy Power said, 'This has been our biggest poker betting market ever and we want to give fans who couldn�t be there and players who got knocked out a chance to sweat every hand of the final table and make a few quid towards their buy-in next year.'

The final table begins at around 8pm (BST) on Thursday evening and will be televised and broadcast on the Internet through ESPN pay-per-view. Players will battle it out for the $12 million first prize, and everyone at the table is guaranteed at least $1 million.
