Bodog and Fox Sports Net Escape �Unfounded� Lawsuit

It has emerged that neither Bodog Entertainment Group or Fox Sports Net will face any further legal action from BlueMoon Entertainment, after it dismissed both cases with prejudice, which allows no room for BlueMoon to reassert its claims.

The lawsuit, filed in April of this year in Los Angeles Superior Court by BlueMoon Entertainment, alleged that Bodog Entertainment Group and its CEO Calvin Ayre were in breach of contract, and in breach of confidence and misappropriation of ideas in relation to Mr. Ayre's self-produced reality television series, �Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker� which aired on Fox Sports Net (FSN).

BlueMoon claimed that it had proposed a similar show to Bodog Entertainment Group, though never had any written contract to produce any television programme or to enter into any other business relationship together.

Upon filing the suit, BlueMoon Entertainment sought a temporary restraining order to halt the broadcast of Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker on Fox Sports Net, but was denied by a judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

On Monday, BlueMoon representatives appeared in court and voluntarily dismissed the case with prejudice, thus agreeing not to pursue any more litigation against Mr. Ayre.
