Paddy Power�s Online Entry for Irish Open

Paddypowerpoker.com has announced the launch of its monthly $1 shootout for the chance to win a �3,500 ticket for the 26th Irish Poker Open being held in Dublin over the Easter weekend in 2007.

The monthly shootout is on the first Monday of every month at 8pm between now and March 2007, with players being able to qualify online at paddypowerpoker.com for the grand prize of a ticket worth �3,500 to one of Europe's most prestigious poker tournaments.

This year's event, which is to be televised live, is one of Europe�s largest tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of �2 million and a capacity for 800 players paying �3,300, plus �200 registration to play during Easter weekend 2007 next year.

Qualification can be gained through the Grand Final seat daily at 2pm and 10pm, a buy-in to a Grand Final for $198 plus $9.90 every Sunday at 9pm, or through the monthly shootout tournaments.

Live satellites in card clubs and casinos around the world will be announced in the coming months.
