Second Player Qualifies for $1,000,000 Tournament Titan

Online poker room Titan Poker has announced that Franck Thimonier from France is the second player to have qualified for The Tournament Titan.

The Tournament Titan is a sit and go tournament with a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, making it the richest sit and go tournament played online to date. Only 20 players will qualify for the tournament, making each seat worth $50,000.

To qualify for The Tournament Titan, Titan Poker players will have to make the final table three times in a row at any of the popular poker room's regularly scheduled participating tournaments.

Thimonier secured his seat at The Tournament Titan by finishing at the final table at Titan Poker's $2,000 Guaranteed Prize Freezeout and twice at Titan Poker' s $3,500 Guaranteed Prize Freezeout tournaments over a period of three days.

Thimonier had been playing at Titan for just over a month when he secured his place. 'When I made the final table for the third time, I felt sure that I was too late and all twenty players had already qualified,� said Thimonier. �But then Titan Poker gave me the fantastic news � first that I qualified and second that even if I finish last in the Main Event, I will win $25,000!�
