French Poker Player Wins $80,000 at Titan Poker Freeroll

French player Thierry Barou claimed first place and an $80,000 cash prize at Titan Poker's $500K �Refer a Friend� freeroll which was staged on October 15.

300 players finished in the money and took home a share of the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool at the card room's freeroll tournament.

Barou, who plays as �bioman,� started playing at Titan Poker a year ago and waited three months to participate in this tournament after qualifying in July.

�I didn't move from my chair for seven hours during the tournament and I won $80,000. I still can't believe it!' Barou said. 'I invite all players to try. Everything is possible and as you can see, you can have a very good day where nothing bad can happen to you!'

Players qualified for seats at the Refer a Friend freeroll through special promotions and by encouraging friends to join Titan Poker. The tournament was the latest in a series of promotions offered at the poker room which regularly reward winners with jackpot prizes as high as $100,000 and seats at major land-based tournaments.
