Wednesday 25th October 2006 Annual Poker Industry Expo to be Held in Costa Rica
Ticonderoga Ventures has announced that its second annual Poker Industry Conference and Exposition will be held on December 7 to 8 2006 in Costa Rica.
The Poker Industry Expo will focus on management, marketing and technology and top brick-and-mortar poker room and online poker executives are expected to attend.
Last year's event brought attracted some of the biggest names in poker, including Mike Caro and Doyle Brunson as well as executives from the largest internet poker companies and major software providers. Additionally, payment processors, marketing executives, poker affiliates and affiliate managers were also present at the 2005 event.
The legislation that was signed into law in the US on October 13 has fundamentally changed the scope of the online poker market. Accordingly, the market opportunities, legal interpretations and payment alternatives that exist for the poker market will be under discussion at the expo.
Michael Bolcerek, president of the Poker Players Alliance, has already confirmed he will attend as a speaker, as have representatives from the Association of Professional Casino Webmasters, Yatahay, Poker Affiliate World, Poker Heaven, Poker 24/7, GPWA, Stinky Fish Poker, Pharaoh's Poker and many more firms.
