CelebPoker Offers Seat at Asian Poker Classic

Online poker room CelebPoker.com has announced that it is hosting qualifiers that will give players the chance to play at the $1 million Asian Poker Classic, which is the first ever major professional poker tournament to be held in India.

Winners will receive a $7,500 prize package to the event, which is to be held at the Intercontinental Grand Resort in Goa, India, between 1-5 March 2007. The package includes $5,000 plus the $300 entry fee to the No Limit freeze out tournament, together with four nights accommodation and $1,360 travel expenses.

Qualification for the Asian Poker Classic can be won via the $4 entry daily satellite tournaments at CelebPoker.com, which gives winners entry to the $35 weekly final every Sunday, to compete for a place in the $320 monthly finals.

The Asian Poker Classic will be the first ever major professional poker tournament in India, and has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
