Wednesday 18th October 2006 Pokerzone Sign Simon Trumper
Pokerzone, the world’s ONLY dedicated Poker channel, have recently signed up Simon “ACES” Trumper to be part of their award winning commentary team on Poker Night Live.
Pokerzone have recruited Simon Trumper to join their celebrated panel to add an extra dimension to the wealth of poker talent that they already have commentating on their Flagship show, Poker Night Live.
With a career spanning over 10 years and multiple tournament wins, including being crowned European Poker Champion, Simon has the credentials and knowledge to advise all budding players out there on how to get the best out of the great game.
“Simon will add great depth to the show”, comments Creative Director Sam Orams. “We are really excited about welcoming one of Britain’s top players onto Poker Night Live. No doubt our viewer’s games will go from strength to strength with this regular addition to the show”
Poker Night Live will be able to call on Simon’s wit and wisdom from November onwards, when he joins the rest of the team. Some past guests on the show include Devilfish, Johnny Chan and Chris Ferguson.
“Poker Night Live has always been as much about education as it has entertainment”, states Jim Sibcy, Managing Director. “By getting Simon ”ACES” Trumper on board, we have not only guaranteed another avenue to educate, we have also got ourselves a real entertainer!”
Away from Poker Night Live, Simon is working with the team behind, Dusk til Dawn, the biggest card room in Europe, scheduled to open in Nottingham April 2007 where he is to be the live Poker Director and host. On his new appointment with Poker Night Live Trumper commented “I am very much looking forward to the opportunity of interacting with the live audience and I hope to impart some of my years of experience gained through both playing and commentating.'
Poker Night Live is broadcasted every night at 9pm on SKY Channel 843
