PaddyPowerPoker Releases Details of 2007 Irish Poker Open

PaddyPowerPoker.com has today announced details of Irish Poker Open 2007, Ireland�s largest poker tournament and Europe�s most historic. The event will take place over the Easter Weekend 2007 in Dublin and the buy in is �3,300 with a �200 registration fee.

Building on the success of the Irish Open 2006, PaddyPowerPoker.com has doubled the guaranteed prize pool to �2 million making it not only one of Europe�s richest tournaments but also its largest in terms of players � this year�s capacity will be 800 with players being split into groups of up to 400 for two first days.

To celebrate the launch of the event, PaddyPowerPoker.com is holding a freeroll at 21:00 BST on Thursday 24 August 2006. Additionally, players can qualify online every week at PaddyPowerPoker.com from 27 August 2006 with two daily feeders to a weekly grand final

The 2006 Irish Open event saw 339 players play for a guaranteed prize pool of �1 million including some of the world�s leading professionals such as Mel Judah, Padraig Parkinson, Roy �the Boy� Brindley and Per Hilderbrand.
