Extreme Poker Acquires The Great Canadian Poker Tournament

Extreme Poker Ltd, a gaming events co-ordinating company, has announced the takeover of The Great Canadian Poker Tournament Ltd � an entertainment company currently in the process of producing a poker based reality TV show.

A spokesperson said: �Extreme Poker Ltd. is very pleased with the company's first acquisition. Taking advantage of the Reality TV momentum and the current North American poker craze, Extreme Poker Ltd (EXTP) is very excited about the potential that this acquisition provides.�

The TV show, which is open to the public, includes a grand finale poker tournament at the end of the series.
