Poker Reaches Highest Ever Rank on Search Engine List

Global Internet group and search engine, Lycos, has announced that, for the week ending June 12, the term �poker� was number seven in its fifty most popular searches, its highest ever ranking. It�s a true testament to the immense popularity of the sport that, for one week, poker was the seventh most interesting thing in the universe to the global population; almost as interesting as Britney Spears.

The most popular poker-related searches included �World Series of Poker�, �online poker research�, �poker lessons�, �video poker�, �world poker tour�, �poker betting tips� and �Texas hold'em poker�.

The most popular search was �Ronald Reagan� following the late president�s funeral that week.
