New Book Charts Best of WSOP

A new book, �52 Greatest Moments, World Series of Poker� by Mark Rogers and Amalgam Studio has been released in celebration of some of the most memorable moments from the annals of poker�s most illustrious tournament.

The book sifts through a detailed collection of 52 of the event�s finest moments including legendary Main Event championships such as Johnny Moss and Doyle Brunson�s back to back wins and early domination in the 1970s, right up to the present day and Chris Moneymaker�s $2.5 million victory in 2003 resulting from his qualification via a $39 online satellite, which prompted millions of players to go online.

Since then, poker has seen something of a boom and Rogers� book chronicles the game�s emergence into popular culture and how it continues to mould the changing traditions of the world�s largest poker tournament.

The book carries detailed accounts of the history behind the tournament�s best bluffs, perfect tens (tournament bracelets) and how they eventually unfolded, with relevant statistics plus notable WSOP finishes for the featured players.
