Friday 18th June 2004 Quadriga and BettingCorp Sign Multi-year Contract
London, United Kingdom, 185th June2004 - OpenTV subsidiary, BettingCorp UK Ltd., the global gaming solutions provider, and Quadriga Worldwide Ltd. today announced the signing of a multi-year agreement for the provision of interactive on screen gaming.
The new services, which will be supplied and fully managed by BettingCorp using its UltimateOne Technology, will be offered via Quadriga’s Genesis platform, currently the only fully digital, on-demand in-room entertainment system for the hotel industry. Initially, the games will be made available to all UK hotels operating Genesis, with the service to be gradually extended to cover all Quadriga’s European hotels. The service will be in compliance with all local laws and regulations within each jurisdiction.

Hotel guests will be able to access and play the full range of BettingCorp’s products including ‘soft’ fixed-odds games, such as keno and virtual horseracing through to a full Casino Games service offering traditional slots, video poker and table games, such as BlackJack to Roulette. The service will allow players the opportunity to play for fun or for real. In addition, skill games such as trivia, word and arcade-style games will be available using BettingCorp’s Skill Games module. Interaction with all the games will be via the in-room remote control.
Users can access and register to the service using a secure single account that can be utilised on any Quadriga Genesis powered hotel entertainment system as well as at home.
