Wednesday 3rd January 2007 Online Poker Offers Playboy Bash
The Online Poker Tour has announced its plans for 2007 which will include a New Year Bash in which it is working with its sponsors to give away four trips to the Playboy Mansion and five trips to the Ultimate Poker Challenge.
Last year, eight Online Poker Tour players won trips to the Playboy Mansion, with two winning trips to a celebrity poker tournament where the likes of Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Ried, Don Cheadle, Lakers owner Jerry Buss, plus poker pro’s such as Daniel Negreanu, Hoyt Corkins, Ted Forrest, and Gavin Smith were in attendance.
For the second party, the Online Poker Tour purchased a VIP table for a purpose charity event, which saw six of its members win free trips out to California to party at the Playboy Mansion. The trips included air travel, accommodation, a VIP Pre-Party, VIP shuttle to and from the Mansion, drinks, food and VIP seating.
For this year’s offering, there are free and $1.10 buy in qualifier tournaments running almost every day throughout January and February, with the final tournaments being broadcast live on the poker-dedicated Rounder’s Radio.
Sponsors for these events include Vegas Poker 247, Royal Card Club, Third Bullet, CD Poker, The 3D Poker and a mystery room that has yet to be announced.
