No Worries For Lindgren in Aussie Millions

Poker star Erick Lindgren found his bank account just slightly healthier as he took down the $100,000 Hold Em Event at the Aussie Poker Millions, bagging a not-insubstantial $1 million for his efforts.

18 of the world�s top players forked out the cash to lock horns at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen and Tony G were just a few of the famous faces taking part.

It was bound to be a nail-biter and so it proved with Negreanu and Roland DeWolf both making early exits.

Masaaki Kagawa caused a stir by finishing 3rd, taking home a quarter of a million for his troubles.

Heads-up, it was a battle of the Erics as Eric Seidel and Lindgren battled it out for the top prize. On the last hand, Seidel couldn�t complete his flush with KhJh on a board of Ah-8d-9h-6d-5c. Lindgren�s Ac7c held up to nab him the title and the dosh.
