Bodog to Hold $200K Tourney in Super Bowl Run-Up

Though the Super Bowl is a much bigger deal for our friends across the pond, Bodog.com is inviting poker players around the world, Europe included, to take part in a special pre-game tourney.

The site is generously adding $100,000 to its guaranteed Sunday tourney on January 28. With a guarantee of $100,000 already in place, players will vie for a guaranteed prizepool of $200,000 for the usual $109 buy-in. The winner will walk away with more than $45,000.

Bodog is also offering three chances for players to use their poker points at a special rate to compete for $200,000 tournament buy-ins. These $200K Special PTS Qualifiers will offer extra value as the points that are paid out can be used to buy in to any scheduled tournament Bodog offers as well as the forthcoming $200,000 event

Qualifying tourneys are to take place on January 25, 26 and 27 at 19:00 ET. They cost 400 PTS and a $109 entry will be awarded for every 10 players who enter.

Each tournament is to be capped at 500 players and registration will begin two hours before each event.
