Everest Continues To Scale New Heights

Online poker firm Everest Poker has announced the date for a round 3 event in its $1 million guaranteed poker event, the Everest Poker Avalanche.

The �Avalanche� event will take place on Saturday, 27 January at 15:00 GMT. Everest Poker Avalanche is a series of daily and weekly tournaments that will culminate in an online final to be held on 17 September, 2007.

'That's when the real fun begins,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. 'The ten winners from the online final are going to win a trip to play at a live final table at a secret location. That's where their share of the $1 million awaits them.�

Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche involves both online play as well as live poker games. The tournament features a three-round structure that allows players at all levels to join in. Round 1 satellites are designed for players looking for little up-front risk: buy-ins are $3+.30 or $11+1. Round 2 satellites are set at $56+5.

For those with bigger bankrolls, Everest Poker is offering two choices: monthly Round 3 satellite events such as the event being held on January 27th with a $530+30 buy-in as well as entrance to the Online Avalanche Final for $5000+300.
