PokerNews has announced the launch of PokerNews Turkey (http://tr.pokernews.com), in what could be the first of many ventures into the Middle Eastern gambling sector, a region that has already been hotly anticipated to experience a poker boom alongside Asia.
The new site will bear many of the classic features of a PokerNews website – the latest poker news from home and abroad, reviews, resources and special local promotions for readers – written in Turkish for Turkish readers.
The editor for PokerNews Turkey is hopeful that the site will be well received in his country. “I am looking forward to providing Turkish speakers and Turks around the world with the very best in poker news coverage. Our network of sites at PokerNews.com provides excellent global coverage which is of great interest to Turkish people who, until now, have had no poker news in their own language.”
PokerNews currently provides websites for nationals of Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Estonia, Spain, China, Japan, Israel, Turkey and Romania. These sit alongside the English versions from the UK, Australia and America.
