Snow could bolster poker prospects

It's about to get particularly snowy in certain parts of the UK, according to meteorologists - and if the views of one key player in then industry are anything to go by, this could mean that far more online poker is played!

Payton O'Brien of Gambling911 told his company's website that the predicted cold snap across the Atlantic is expected to have a bumper effect on US online bingo - and it would follow that the same will be the case on these shores.

He said: "Forecasts across the nation call for sub freezing temperatures and some snow over a large portion of the Midwest into the East Coast region.

"This translates into more poker being played online. Who wants to go out under these frigid conditions?"

Wintry conditions certainly provide the perfect opportunity to fine-tune your online gambling skills, whether this be through poker, blackjack or casinos.
