Hell's Kitchen host announced as first celebrity to try his hand at Poker Million IV

Ladbrokespoker.com has just announced Marco Pierre White as the first of six celebrity players in this year's Poker Million competition. The new presenter of Hell's Kitchen is renowned for his quick temper, but will the celebrity chef prove a Maniac on the table or is it all just hot air?

Pierre White said: "I plan to go all the way! This is going to be a great experience. I can’t wait to find out who the other players in my heat are going to be."

Last year saw the celebrity round saw rugby star Austin Healey outplay snooker champs Steve Davis and Jimmy White, dart player Phil Taylor, TV presenter Tim Lovejoy and glamour model Leilani Dowding.

Colin Cole Johnson, Ladbrokes’ director of eGaming, said: "The celebrity heat is always good quality and this year's heat promises to be no different. We couldn't have asked for a better first signing and I am sure this will make this an even more interesting game to watch than normal."

The non-celebrity players who enter the Poker Million VI competition will play online on Ladbrokespoker.com to qualify and the ultimate winner will scoop $1,000,000.
