Danielle Lloyd given Ladbrokes poker role

Ladbrokes has announced that it has appointed model Danielle Lloyd as the face of its successful poker business.

The wannabe WAG, former girlfriend of England star Teddy Sheringham, recently won £10,000 at Cheltenham Racecourse by picking three winners to cement her gambling credentials.

As part of her Ladbrokes contract, Danielle, 23, will play in a number of celebrity poker games during the year, having been taught how to play the game by Sheringham, and her face and figure will be used to promote the Ladbrokes poker business.

Danielle recently hit headlines over the alleged racist bullying of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in the Celebrity Big Brother house, alongside Jade Goody.

Sheringham, 40, is currently the face of Ladbroke rival VC Poker's website and the rivalry between the pair is expected to drive competition between the poker sites.
