Thwart Poker Inc has announced the launch of its new skill-based poker game. After two years in development Thwart Poker boasts new patented technology which the company hopes will �redefine the game of poker�. The game works by allowing players to pick the hand they want, thereby eliminating the element of chance that defines illegal gambling in the U.S.

The company's two initial ThwartPoker website games are Hold'em Blitz(TM) and 6 Card Battle(TM). Selected website play is free and multiplayer online tournaments for prizes are promised later this month.
