Thursday 5th April 2007 Football League Scouting for Online Casino Signings
FL Interactive has launched a search for a new online gaming partner or partners. FLi is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Football League, a company that manages 78 Official Football Club websites. The sites are already extremely popular, with 4,178,640 unique users and 49,861,237 hits per month.
Opportunities exist in the online poker, online casino and online bingo sectors, and they are inviting tenders for a gaming partner or relationship with a brand in each area. FLi already has a ‘sportsbook’ betting partner in Bet365, who will continue to be linked to participating club websites. While links to an outside sportsbook will not be allowed on partner pages, the popularity of the FLi sites is not expected to deter companies seeking to tender for this otherwise exclusive relationship.
Kieron Kilbride, General Manager of FL Interactive said: 'This is a unique opportunity to connect with fans from clubs in The Football League, Premier League and Football Conference through websites that are a daily part of supporters’ lives.'
The exclusive partnerships will see the selected brand or brands receive a high profile presence across FL Interactive’s network from summer 2007.
