Paddy Power Announces Broadcast Partner for Irish Open

PaddyPowerPoker.com, in association with Winmedia International Ltd, has announced the television broadcast details of the 26th Irish Open tourney.

Extensive coverage of Europe's largest and longest running poker tournament will be televised by Ireland's national broadcaster RT� across Easter weekend.

Highlights of all the day's action will be featured in a dedicated 90 minute programme each night on RT� Two on:

� Saturday 7th April from 23.35 GMT

� Sunday 8th April from 12.00 GMT

� Monday 9th April from 23.25 GMT

The programmes will be presented by Irish and UK TV presenter Liz Bonnin and commentary will be handled by the legendary Jesse �voice of poker� May alongside a host of international poker stars.

This year's event, the second longest running poker tournament in the world and one of the most prestigious, doubles in size with a �2 million guaranteed prize pool.

Last year, Dublin accountant Vincent Melinn won the �350,000 first prize in only his second ever live tournament and the final table was broadcast live across Europe.
