Big Brother Star Danielle Lloyd Joins Ladbrokes Poker

Former Celebrity Big Brother participant Danielle Lloyd, 23, has been announced as the new face of Ladbrokes� poker campaigns.

Liverpool born and bred, Lloyd was involved in perhaps the most controversial series of the reality show Big Brother in the UK to date, where her relationship with co-housemate and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty turned sour.

Lloyd is also the former lover of West Ham United and former England star Teddy Sheringham who is an avid poker fanatic as well as the face of Ladbrokes� online poker rivals VC Poker. The pair split in February and Ladbrokes� announcement suggests more friction could be on the cards � literally.

The face-off should prove interesting given that Lloyd was reportedly taught how to play poker by Sheringham in 2006. Indeed, �The battle between the pair will be one of the industry's most compelling contests,' wrote UK newspaper The Daily Star.

�Dani�s appearance on the poker scene will really raise the stakes, but there�s no way Teddy is going to fold and let her and Ladbrokes take the jackpot,� commented an industry insider. �This will be some game.�
