Poker770 Eyes The Irish Prize

Online poker firm Poker770 has announced a series of online qualifiers for the upcoming Irish Poker Open in Dublin.

The fun begins with a variety of sit n’gos starting at $1.50 leading on to a second tier of qualifiers ranging from buy-ins of $5.50 to $40. The winners will progress to one of four Super Satellites beginning on February 25th and face off for the prize package, valued at a juicy $6,900. Alternatively, players can buy in directly to the Super Satellites for $300.

The package includes flights, accommodation at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin and the €3,300 Main Event entry fee.

The Irish Open runs over Easter Weekend 2007 with a guaranteed prize pool of 2 million euros. Some of the world’s top players are expected to attend including Dave ‘The Devilfish’ Ulliott, Andy Black and World Strip Poker Champion Jon Young.
