Ultimate Poker or Playboy for OPT Champs

The Online Poker Tour (OPT) has announced some of its plans for the New Year.

To kick it off, it has created the New Year Bash competition in which it is working with sponsors to give away four trips to the Playboy Mansion and five trips to the Ultimate Poker Challenge. Free and $1.10 buy-in qualifier tournaments will be running almost everyday in January and February.

The final tournaments for the trips are going to be broadcast live on Rounder's Radio, a new online radio station dedicated almost entirely to poker.

Last year, eight players won trips to the Playboy Mansion and two won trips to a celebrity poker tournament with the likes of Shannon Elizabeth, Don Cheadle and more. A number of poker pros including Daniel Negreanu, Hoyt Corkins and Gavin Smith were also in attendance.

Amongst OPT's sponsors for these events are Vegas Poker 247, Royal Card Club, Third Bullet, CD Poker and The 3D Poker. One further room will participate but details have not yet been released.
