WSOP Chronicles Out Now

A new book by Mark Rogers has been released this week chronicling 52 of the finest moments in the 37-year history of poker�s most illustrious tournament; the World Series of Poker.

�52 Greatest Moments, World Series of Poker� by Mark Rogers and Amalgam Studio artfully brings to life the colourful history of the WSOP from the legendary days of Johnny Moss, Doyle Brunson and Stu Ungar, to the more recent exploits of Phil Hellmuth, Chris Moneymaker and 2006 winner Jamie Gold.

The book counts down the top 52 moments from Main Event championships, preliminary event bracelet records to the influential moments that took place between poker's most recognisable characters.

Each of the 52 chapters relay detailed accounts of the history behind the tournament�s best bluffs, best comebacks, perfect tens (tournament bracelets) and how they eventually unfolded, with interesting tournament statistics and notable WSOP finishes for each featured player.

The new release includes more than 100 quotes from professional poker players and critics, full colour photographs, a full glossary of poker terms, rules and rankings, plus a gallery of all of the World Series of Poker Champions.
