UK Poker Player to Represent Titan Poker at WPT Event

Piers Shepperson from Slough, England will represent online poker room Titan Poker at the forthcoming World Poker Finals which begin tomorrow, November 11 and run until November 14 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

Shepperson won his seat at the second of Titan Poker's World Poker Tour (WPT) 'Pick Your Tournament' series which awards skilful players with a $12,000 package to a forthcoming WPT tournament in the US. The winning player chooses the date and destination themselves.

Shepperson had been playing at Titan Poker for less than a year when he won the tournament, and this is his first foray into a WPT tourney.

'I feel really great about winning the World Poker Tour Pick Your Tournament,� said Shepperson. �I am very keen to play in a WPT Tournament for the first time and represent Titan Poker at such an exciting event.'

The site is offering three more chances to pick a seat at the WPT, with satellites scheduled for the next few months. Additional details about the series and the tournaments have been posted on the Titan Poker website.
