Everest Announces Sponsorship of London Poker Association

Everest Poker has announced temporary sponsorship of the BLAPO London Amateur Poker Organisation.

The online poker room will sponsor Texas Hold�em events held in the greater London area and offer all BLAPO members the chance to play in a BLAPO Members and Friends $200 online freeroll poker tournament every Sunday at 20:00 GMT.

'Poker's growing very rapidly in the UK,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. 'We wanted to work with BLAPO to foster a grassroots movement and give players the chance to compete for real money.'

BLAPO runs six live poker events across London each week including; games at the Warwick in SW1 every Sunday; two Monday night tournaments at The Master Gunner in Moorgate and Bar Room Bar in Wanstead; and a warm-up game and tournament at the Spinnaker in London every Tuesday.

'It takes just a few moments to set up an account and the variety of games we offer gives even beginners the chance to compete fairly,� added May. �That's why we're very enthusiastic about working with BLAPO � their poker evenings give new players time to learn about the game with no risk.'
