Online Casino Group Lends a Hand to WHUP

Online gambling giant 888.com, has announced that is the new sponsor of the seventh World Heads Up Poker (WHUP) championship held from May 21 to May 29 at the Casino Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.

The competition sees 128 players battle it out, one-on-one, in single elimination matches of no-limit Texas Hold'em poker. The culmination of the games will see one lucky winner reveling in a �125,000 prize, while the 16 surviving players will get a share of a �320,000 prize pool. 888.com has been staging online qualifiers for the popular event, with 12 of its players making the WHUP grade so far.
