Pokertropolis Post Odds on Word Series

Pokertropolis is the first online gambling site to post odds on the forthcoming World Series of Poker to be held at Binion’s Horseshoe next month, and because of the unprecedented volume of hopeful entrants, bettors are getting some pretty tasty prices. In what other sport would the favourite start out at 125-1 and the defending champion at 400-1? Well, these are the odds Pokertropolis are offering on Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker respectively.

Surprisingly, some of the Hollywood celebrity players, seduced by the bright lights of the desert city into buying a place in the tournament, fair better than Moneymaker in the stakes. For instance, you could have you’re money on Matt Damon at 350-1 or Leonardo Di Caprio at 325-1. Also, competing will be, amongst others, Ben Affleck, Edward Norton and James Woods (all at 400-1).

“We're proud to provide World Series' odds from the WCPA, something exclusive that you won't find anywhere else,' says Pokertropolis spokesman, Jim Silvers. 'It's generating a lot of excitement, especially for those fans that can't be at WSOP in person”

Wagering is limited to Pokertropolis members, who may register for free. Bets of $10-$50 may be placed through Pokertropolis' secure payment site. Pokertropolis is supported by the Horizon20 network, a respected company presenting a group of reliable and secure online gaming businesses.
