Final Satellites for Live Event in Portugal at Everest

The last two qualifying events for the Everest Poker Live in Portugal online satellites will be held on the 13th and 20th of May at 21.00 Portuguese time. Each satellite is a no limit $2 +.20 tournament, which will see the top nine players gaining free entry to the Live in Portugal final event at the Casino de Espinho on 2 June, 2007. Players will also receive $100 towards their travel expenses.

'Portugal has been creating great players for Everest Poker and we wanted to offer them the chance to play against each other in a live setting,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. 'The Casino de Espinho is a fantastic venue and we're looking forward to the live event.'

Other news at Everest is a software upgrade aimed at adding to the player experience through improved lobby functions. The software is also fully localised: delivering its content in 16 different languages.

Johnathan May explained that, 'We've listened to our players and made it a breeze to find a poker game that suits their ability and bankroll.'
