Professional Poker Player Doubles his Money

U.K professional poker player, Ashley Revel, has emerged victorious after deciding it would be a good idea to bet all his worldly goods, including his clothes, on a roulette wheel in Vegas. Lucky red seven proved to be just that for Ashley as he revelled in his good fortune, doubling his overall value from �76,840 to �153,680.

Revel was seen to punch the with delight following the bet, which was televised on Sky TV, claiming, 'That was just the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life. �

When questioned as to why he would risk everything he owned to a fifty-fifty bet he explained, �It wasn�t really about the money�I'm not married and I haven't got kids. It's almost like my last chance to go mad.'

Ashley hopes to take his run of luck to the forthcoming World Series of Poker, but in the meantime intends to buy some more clothes � �and some sunglasses, obviously.�
