WSOP Launches H.O.R.S.E. Academy

The World Series Of Poker Academy has announced the launch of its Academy H.O.R.S.E. Edition, the first-ever poker camp dedicated to helping players raise their game to the next level with instruction from some of the world’s best all-around players.

H.O.R.S.E. comprises the five games of Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Seven-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo Eight or Better. The comprehensive, three-day poker camp and experience is scheduled to take place November 2 to 4 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Poker players already scheduled to help out include two-time WSOP bracelet winner Howard Lederer, WSOP bracelet winner Annie Duke, World Champion Greg Raymer, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Mark Seif, WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. Event runner-up Andy Bloch, top poker professional and instructor Alex Outhred and former FBI agent Joe Navarro, an expert on nonverbal behaviour.

Each day of the Academy will see instructors conduct in-depth seminars, live hand analysis and interactive workshops with participants to cover every aspect of the five games. The end of the second day will see a private tournament involving the games discussed during the day with the top four finishers winning a seat to the 2008 WSOP $2500 H.O.R.S.E. event.

The Academy’s final day will see a H.O.R.S.E. tournament with the winner receiving entry into the $10,000 buy-in Main Event at the 2008 WSOP.
