CelebPoker Launches Swedish Website

Leading celebrity poker room CelebPoker.com is offering more of its Scandinavian clientele a chance to play with the launch of a Swedish version of its website.

CelebPoker.com said that it launched the new service to broaden its European coverage and that it had to obtain a new European Union Gaming Licence in order to do so. This new licence will allow Swedish poker players to play for the first time at CelebPoker.com.

'CelebPoker is continually looking to provide poker players from around the world with the chance to enjoy the best possible poker experience,� said Dave Donovan, CelebPoker�s Chief Executive Officer.

�We are very happy that we can now offer this to the Swedish market and I would like to personally welcome all Swedish players to CelebPoker.'

Donovan stated that this new addition is a very welcome and necessary one as Sweden has had a long history of producing some of the best poker players in the world.

Swedish poker players will now be able to take advantage of CelebPoker.com's full range of online poker games, and will also have the opportunity to become a member of Team CelebPoker, representing the poker brand at major European poker events.

�I am very excited that some of these elite players will have the chance to qualify and represent Team CelebPoker,� he said.

CelebPoker.com said that it is looking for new faces to form part of two teams that would represent Team CelebPoker at different events across Europe.
