Avatars Come to Life at Scottish Rock Fest

Online poker site PKR.com pulled a huge marketing coup with its casino tent at the Scottish Rock Festival, T in the Park. The tent proved to be a big draw, with over 5,000 people playing poker, roulette and blackjack for free at the PKR Fun Casino located in the festival arena. While the games themselves were free, they were staffed by professional dealers and croupiers, and there were a range of PKR prizes on offer.

PKR.com boasts advanced 3-D graphics with players able change the look of their avatar with clothes and accessories that range from hot pants to headphones. Tattoos are also popular, and the PKR t-shirt is particularly cool, and was no doubt a welcome change to the revellers sporting the traditional muddy festival clobber.
