Artificial Life’s 3G Texas Hold’em

Leading mobile telephone 3G technologies, games and applications provider Artificial Life Inc has announced the forthcoming release of its first Texas Hold’em game.

The Hong Kong-based firm said that its new 3G Texas Hold’em poker game would be the first in a series of mobile telephone casino games that it would be releasing. It stated that the series would eventually comprise other mobile telephone card and casino games that will link online gaming with mobile telephone phone gaming.

'Poker is becoming more and more popular around the world,” said Eberhard Schoneburg, Chief Executive Officer of Artificial Life. “Hence, we have decided to add a sophisticated and highly animated poker game to our extensive 3G mobile game portfolio. The game is very appealing and has many new and innovative game features that will surely attract novices as well as experienced poker fans from around the globe.'

The new poker game, due for release later this year, will be available in single and multi-player versions and will allow players to select an avatar to represent themselves from a selection of customisable three-dimensional animated models.

During the game, players trigger animated gestures for the avatar to perform such as shaking hands, raking in the poker chips or throwing cards down in protest. Players will be able to compete against others through a server connection or using Bluetooth.

3G Texas Hold’em poker will also allow players of various levels to join virtual tables based on their ability. Players of a higher rank would, therefore, be allowed access to more exclusive tables to compete against others with higher ratings. There are even plans for the best players to be invited to compete in exclusive scheduled tournaments.
