PacificPoker.com Unveils WSOP Europe Promotion

Leading online poker guide PokerListings.com and 888.com flagship site PacificPoker.com have announced promotional packages for the upcoming World Series Of Poker (WSOP) Europe and 888.com UK Open.

For the WSOP Europe, PacificPoker.com is offering a $25,000 freeroll that is open to PokerListings.com players that earn just 50 comp points on its site until August 20. The freeroll will run until August 25 with the winner awarded a $22,000 prize package for the WSOP Europe main event on September 10 while $3,000 will be allocated to a prize pool for lower placed finishers.

For PokerListing.com players who have earned only 30 comp points at PacificPoker.com, there is the private $8,500 UK Open freeroll running until September 7. The winner of this event will receive a seat and travel expenses for the 888.com UK Open in October.

'We know the WSOP Europe is going to be epic,' said Camilla Sundell, Press Secretary for PokerListings.com. 'That's a given. With a relatively small field, a $20,000 buy-in and probably the most star-packed line-up poker has ever seen, that bracelet is going to be one of the most esteemed and sought-after accessories ever.

'So we're excited one of our players can be a part of that but don't sleep on the UK Open. It's a killer tournament in its own right with a very solid line-up of European pros and I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the heavy hitters from the WSOP Europe stick around for the action.'
