GamedayPoker.com Goes Racing in Australia

International poker site GamedayPoker.com has announced a multi-year partnership with Australian V8 Supercar Championship team PWR Racing.

The deal will see the cars of PWR Racing's Cameron McConville and Paul Dumbrell carry the logo of the London-based online poker room over the 14 race weekends that will constitute the 2007 season.

'The incredible popularity and visibility of the V8 Supercar Championship is unmistakable,” said Morgan Davies, Chief Executive Officer of the Gameday Group.

“As we begin to focus our marketing attention on the Australian and New Zealand markets, the team and championship were a natural fit. In addition, the team's integrity and commitment to excellence will give us momentum as we grow our exposure across these territories.”

The V8 Supercar Championship is the most popular motor sport in Australia along with considerable following in New Zealand. In addition, it is steadily growing in popularity across the world due to increased television coverage.
