Perhaps it was a foregone conclusion that Daniel Negreanu would win the PokerStars showdown: his opponent, the formidable malicious222, was pretty star struck, often asking for Daniel’s advice and feedback during the $10,000 heads up game. As the showdown champ, Negreanu may well attract some more high level challengers as a warm up to the World Series of Poker Europe.
