VC Unveils Online Poker Tournament

Leading British bookmaking and gaming group Victor Chandler has announced the launch of the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP), which is to be a ten-event online poker tournament in November.

Sponsored by its VCPoker.com online poker site, the ECOOP is to see top players from around the planet compete in the inaugural event for a share of the $2.5 million dollar guaranteed prize pool.

Events on offer include a $50,000 MVP free roll competition where the winner will walk away with the title of 2007 ECOOP Most Valuable Player. This event is aimed at rewarding players for their skill, effort and determination and competing players can track their performance during the main event by keeping an eye on the MVP Leaderboard, where players in the ECOOP showdown will be ranked. At the end of the ten-day tournament, the 50 top players will gain entry into the $50,000 free roll competition scheduled to take place on December 11.

The tournament will also see Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo poker games along with variations of no limit and limit Texas Hold’em poker, each with their own dedicated prize pool.
